Environmental Protection and Natural Resource Management
Description of the Project:
MRF organization through its Agriculture, Environment and Climate Change program involves in Environmental protection, conservation and natural resource management.
MRF’s works to protect the environment and climate change movement activities directly contribute the efforts to achieve a green and peaceful world.
This MRF’s Environment and Climate change project designed to empower youth and women become as local Climate Change Agent.
MRF partnered with Ministry of Environment, Wildlife and Climate change, Puntland of Somalia in implementation of this project activities; MRF through this project distributed a total 74 trees to plant. To date, 36 women in Garowe district have participated trainings on climate change and environmental protection and over 2,000 trees also planned to distribute for planting.
