Today, July 19, Mar Said Mumin who is a lawyer and human right activist was vetted and elected by the Puntland Parliament House as the new Chief of the Puntland Human Rights Office.

MRF also sends it’s congratulation message to the former Minister of Women and Family Affairs, human right defender, Mrs. Maryan Ahmed Ali, who contested for the Job and became the second runner-up. It was a tough competition that went through three rounds.
